2008年 8月 6日付けのテクニカルレポートですが、公開は最近のはずです。
どこかでの講演を書き起こししたような感じです (ちょっと読みにくい)。
残念ながら、参照されている Slideは見つかりません。



ベクトル ("Cray’isms") から、1983年開始の "parallel processing project"、
1991年の Meiko(明光) CS-2、MPI everywhere approachを検討しながら、
"The ASC Sequoia Programming Model" はどうあるべきかみたいな事を
説明しています (まだ理解出来ていません)。ベクトルからスケーラビリティ
を確保した移行、さらに将来への展望は容易じゃないよとのお話みたいです。
ただし、ASCの場合は対象アプリケーションが絞られているので、分析
しやすいかもしれません。ASCの目的：Stockpile Stewardship Program
(核管理) のリンクは後述します。
