  "米連邦通信委員会（FCC）は今週、米国の高速通信ネットワークの
   拡大を目指した全米ブロードバンド構想を発表する予定だ。FCCは
   3月16日に「National Broadband Plan」を議会に提出し、米国全域
   を最新のブロードバンドインフラでくまなく接続するための行動
   計画を示す。"

  "FCCの計画に示された今後10年間の行動予定には、1億世帯に安価な
   100Mbpsサービスを接続すること、米国のあらゆる地域において学校、
   病院、軍事施設などの拠点施設に最低1Gbpsの超高速ブロードバンド
   へのアクセスを安価で提供すること、500MHz帯を免許不要および
   要免許の帯域として新たに利用可能にし、米国がモバイル分野の

   現在の約65％から90％以上に引き上げることなどが含まれる。"
