  "Vodafone Group PLC's Turkish unit said Wednesday its data operator
   in Ikitelli district, in Istanbul, is heavily damaged due to flooding,
   the Ihlas News Agency, or IHA, reported.

   In a statement, the company said some of its subscribers in the
   northwestern area of Istanbul and Thrace region, in the northwest of
   Turkey, are having communication problems due to the damage, IHA
   reported.

   Vodafone said work on the data operator is continuing."
